He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Anton Merklin and Alice Merklin; his former life partner Curtistine Merklin; and his daughter Christy Merklin. He is survived by : his former life partner Debbie Wilson; his daughters, Melody Cooper (Gerald) and Mercedes Dodd (Robert); his stepdaughters, Monica White and Carmen Randle (William); his sons, Anton Merklin III, Ryan Merklin (Nicole) and Brandon Merklin; and his close friend Verna Massey.
