She was predeceased by: her husband John "Bob" Raters; her parents, Virgil Hemphill and Lillian Hemphill; and her sibling Dean Hemphill. She is survived by: her children, Linda Raters (Ron Reeves) and Steven Raters (Julia); her grandsons, Anthony Raters (Jennifer) and Mathew Raters (Vlad); and her great grandchildren, Zachary Raters, Zoey Raters and Henry Raters.
Memorials may be made in Betty's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
