He is survived by: his children, Sharon Yates (Jeff Creacy Sr.), William Yates (Cheryl), Chuck Yates (Ellen) and Karon Goodrich (late Derek); and his sisters, Delores Bufford and Elaine McAllister.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (403 N Main St, O'Fallon, MO 63366).
