She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Vomund and Elizabeth Vomund; and her siblings, Henry Vomund (Dolly), Nicholas Vomund (Dorothy), Aloysius Vomund (Arcella), Joseph Vomund (Patricia), Charles Vomund (Dorothy), Cecilia Luetkemeyer (Red), Mary Ann Kerpash (Paul) and Ursula Orf (Martin).
She is survived by: her husband Bob Bauer of Bauer's Tavern; her children, Jerry Bauer (LuAnn), Vernon Bauer (Julie) and Dan Bauer (Kim); her grandchildren, Laura Cunniff (Sean), Sarah Kogan (Dan), Brandon Bauer (Meghan), Alana Hall (Tim), Chelsea Hollingshead (John), Ryan Bauer (Danielle), Kylene Balek (Brent) and Megan Bauer; her great grandchildren, Piper, Emery Bauer, Mackenzie Cunniff, Elliott, Marina Kogan, Lily, Charlie Hall, James, Lucy, Josephine, Pio Bauer, Wyatt and Mason Hollingshead; and her siblings, Paul Vomund (Joan), Bill Vomund (Ruth), Bea Feldewerth (Dave) and Michaleen Vomund.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or to the Twin Oaks at Heritage Pointe's Resident Activity Fund (where Kate made her soda money as the Bingo queen).
