He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Reid Douglas Childers Sr. and Donald Richard Kadell; and his brother-in-law Jeremy Proctor. He is survived by: his parents, Reid Douglas Childers Jr. and Karen Louis Childers (Kadell) of Alton; his wife Sara Nicole Childers (White); his daughters, Josie Rhae Childers and Claire Nicole Childers; his brother Craig Childers of Alton; his parents-in-law, Annette Proctor of Godfrey, Michael and Denice Atchison of Chester; his grandmothers, Ann Childers of Alton and JoAnn Kadell of Alton; his grandfather-in-law Beverly Nevins of Godfrey; his siblings-in-law, Anthony Proctor, Bethany Proctor, Megan Atchison and Mikayla Atchison; and his close friend Justin Holden of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by other extended family; colleagues and many friends.
