He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Nadine Barton; his parents, Chester Barton and Angeline Barton (Licavoli); his stepchildren, Bruce Ball (late Michelle), Gary Ball, LaVonne Cross and Tonya Ball; and his siblings, Thomas Barton, Carol Ward and David Barton (Connie).
He is survived by: his children, James Barton (Michelle), Becky Wells (Mark), David Barton and Tina Glasgow (William); his grandchildren, Eric (Amanda), Jeremy Ringkamp, Tiffany, Breanna, David, Nicki Barton and Noah Glasgow; his stepgrandchildren, Kenny and Kyle; and his great grandchildren, Ariana, Anthony, Augustus, Jayden, Liam and Raya.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kaufmann Fund-St. Louis, U.S.O., Wounded Warrior Project or the DAV.
