She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Bishop and John Bishop; and her siblings, Leroy Bishop, Larry Fay Bishop and Jerry Ray Bishop.

She is survived by: her husband Alfred A. Pieper; her children, Kerry Pieper (Michelle Orr) and Paula Ziegemeier (Kurt); her grandchildren, Audrey Marshall (Zack), Jake Pieper, Maria Ziegemeier, Monica Ziegemeier, Luke Ziegemeier and Michael Ziegemeier; her stepgrandsons, Aaron Ziegemeier and James Orr; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Lily Marshall.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (403 N Main St, O'Fallon, MO 63366). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (403 N Main St, O'Fallon, MO 63366).

Memorials may be made in Etta's name to Masses to Assumption Catholic Church or St. Barnabas Catholic Church St. Juan Diego Parish.
