He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Aileen and James Clifford Stagner Sr.; his daughter Melissa Ijames; and his brothers, Ronald Stagner and Michael Stagner.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Stagner; his children, Jacqueline Jennings (William), James "Jimmy" Clifford Stagner III, Rachel Vincent (Doug), Rebecca Stagner, Lana Estrada, Christina Turner (Richard) and Desirae Smith; and his sisters, Sharon Bakies, Cathy Shawcroft (Grant) and Elizabeth "Beth" Bowers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baue Funeral Home - Cave Springs (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
