It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James McAtee of OFallon, Missouri, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James McAtee to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond McAtee, and Kay McAtee, Jr.; and his brother Mark D. McAtee. He is survived by: his sister Peggy McAtee Burroughs (Kent); his sibling's children, Angela Burroughs, Ryan Burroughs (Julie), Jason Burroughs (Amy), Ian McAtee and Brennan McAtee; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Haley, Jack, Riley of Demmi, JJ, Faith, Brinley, Hadley, Mallie and Olivia; and his aunts, Elizabeth Schaeffer and Leah McAtee.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home (515 Vandalia St, Collinsville, IL 62234). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
