She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Gordy and Harold Gordy; and her sister Susan Gordy-Epstein. She is survived by: her husband Donald W. West; her children, Stacey Chapman (Matthew) and Jeffrey West (Amber Bishop); her grandson Jacob Chapman (Kirsten); her siblings, Richard Gordy and Thomas Gordy (Roland Galindo); and her brother-in-law David Epstein.
