He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bernard, Agnes Gavan, Gene and Ruth Packard; and his uncle Bruce Packard.
He is survived by: his parents, Kenneth Gavan and Marilyn Gavan; his siblings, Mark Gavan and Susan Miller (Jeremy); his siblings' children, Mackenzie Miller, Gavan Miller and Nicholas Candela-Gavan; his pet CeeCee; his close friend Joe Klaser; Gene Packard, Jr. (Linda).
