He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Chitwood and Charity B. Chitwood; his daughter Jammie Ann Moore; and his grandparents, Artist and Hazel Chitwood.

He is survived by: his children, Jessica Rae Myers (Daniel) and Joseph Andrew Chitwood (Bailey); his grandchildren, Mason Myers, Max Chitwood, Elliot Myers and Nora Chitwood; and his sister Donna Sue Jones. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and his whole family.
