She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bruce Richie; her parents, Bud Reining and Delores Reinders; her sons, Bret Richie and Tyson Richie (Jessica); her grandsons, Brice Richie and Brayden Richie; and her siblings, Michele Tabbone, Skip Reining, Mark Reinders (Elizabeth) and Derrick Reinders (Jackie).

She cherished time with her grandchildren and even stepped back into the role of teacher during COVID, helping guide them while they were out of school.
