She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Thomas; her grandson Jon Brown; her great grandchild Claire; her parents, Carl (Stella) and Hinkle; and her siblings, Pete Hinkle and Alma Luedloff (Bill Hawthorne).
She is survived by: her children, James "Jimmy" Thomas (Tina), Mari Bertelsman (Ken), Nancy Brown and Michael "Mike" Thomas; her grandchildren, Ashley Sczcepanski (Edward), Danielle Schweiger (Jake), Taylour Woesthaus (Andy), Brice (Carrie), David, Connor (Ashley), Savannah and Donald; her great grandchildren, Mitchell, Emmaline, Edward, Ember, Isabella and Ares; and her sisters, Carolyn Dake and Marilyn Gentemann (Greg). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Central Institute for the Deaf, St. Louis, MO, or St. Luke Catholic Church, or to St. Teresa Catholic Church.
