He is survived by: his wife Charlotte "Lolly" Hernandez; his children, Rita Schlenke (Frank), Gregory Hernandez (Stacey) and Kathleen Miller (Will); his grandchildren, Jessica Dwyer, Matthew Dwyer (Alyssa), Nicholas "Nick" Schlenke (Jordan) and Jennifer Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Sophia, Nathan, Audrey, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Mia and Liam; and his brother Raymond Hernandez (Phyllis).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (403 N Main St, O'Fallon, MO 63366). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to Masses or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
