She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Thiel; her granddaughter Alissa Robinson; her siblings, Fred Nelson, Robert Nelson and Louise Mae; and her parents, Oscar Fred Nelson and Lillie Rachel Nelson.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Arlene Thiel; her sibling's children, Sharon Phillips, Michael Thiel, Lisa Carey and Betsy Knapp (Cory); and her grandchildren, Katie Ferrari (Sean), James Phillips, Michael Thiel, Amber Thiel, Justin Carey, Amanda Wood (Robert), Dylan Thiel (Bionka), Joshua Knapp (Hannah), Logan Knapp and Luke Knapp.
Memorials can be made in the name of Ann Thiel to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
