She was predeceased by: her husband Charles William Long; her parents, Vivian Bartlett and George Bartlett; her siblings, Talmadge Bartlett, Roy McLaughlin and Melba Sherell; and her nephew Talmadge "Buddy" Bartlett.

She is survived by: her son Charles Long, Sr. (Lora); her grandchildren, Heather Lee, Charles K Long, Jr. (Kara) and Rachel Long; her great grandchildren, Kyle, Hailey, Freya, Chucky, Christopher, Connor and Aerith; and her pets, Rosie, Ozzy, Claire, Lily and Ivy.

Memorials may be made in Kitty's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
