He was predeceased by: his father Otto E. Horton II; his grandchild E. J. Orellana; and his brother Otto Earl Horton, III. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Scharer; his mother Geraldine II; his daughters, Bethany Leisure (Chris Follin), Katherine Horton, Diana Horton and Theresa; his grandchildren, Daniel Miller, Ajay Orellana and Ava Orellana; and his siblings, Steve Grover (Sandy), Carl Horton (Sandy), Shirley Waters (late Mike), Tim Horton (Marla), Chris Horton (Stephanie), Joe Horton, Jerry Horton (Lesley) and Bonnie Pierce (Robert).
Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.
Memorials may be made in Lonnie's name to the National Down Syndrome Society.
