With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Albert Birk of OFallon, Missouri, who passed away on July 27, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin M. Birk and Amanda Lange Birk; his son Alan Birk; and his siblings, Gerhard Birk, Alfred Birk, Vanita Spooler, Hulda Sievers, Alma Mouser, Vera Allen, Laura Nagel and Elverda Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Birk of O'Fallon; his son Scott Birk (Darlene) of St. Charles, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Marcia Birk of St. Peters, Missouri; his grandchildren, Marcus Birk of St Louis, Matthew Birk (Ashley) of St. Charles, Amanda Birk of Rock Hill, Ryan Birk of Florence and Brianna Birk of St. Charles; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Adley and Molly Birk; and his sister-in-law Alberta Gross (late Albert) of Gordonville.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Lutheran High School of St. Charles County or Peace Lutheran Church Building Fund in O'Fallon, Missouri.
