He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schallenberg and Evelyn Schallenberg; and his wife Alberta "Bert" Schallenberg. He is survived by: his sons, Robert L. Schallenberg (Mary) and Charles "Kevin" Schallenberg (Debbie); his grandsons, Sean Mullen (Rebecca), Dan Stokes (Arielle) and Bryan Stokes (Alex); his great grandchildren, Ian of Plano, Texas and Collin Mullen of Plano, Texas; his grandchildren, Hunter of St Peters, Colt of St Peters, Charlotte Stokes of St Peters and Austin; and his sister Margaret Ahrens. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church - O'Fallon Missouri.
