He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Rankin and Beatrice Seaman Rankin (Rider); his siblings, John 'Butch Rankin, Jr. and Joanne Francis; and his grandson Frankie Speno.
He is survived by: his stepfather John Rankin; his wife Charlotte Nations; his children, Dr. Robert J. Seaman, Jr. (Bennette) of Edgerton, KS, Rebecca Speno of O'Fallon, MO and Susan Russo (Johnny) of O'Fallon, MO; his sister Joy Edwards (Gary); and his brother-in-law Dick Francis. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Altamont or the Alzheimer's Association.
