She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar DeGonia and Viola DeGonia; her granddaughter Heather Fitzgerald; and her brother Oscar DeGonia, Jr.. She is survived by : her husband Ralph West; her children, Robyne Westmoreland (Jackie), Amy Starzyk (Darren) and Michael West (Susan); her grandchildren, Shaun Fitzgerald, Michael West, Jr., Amanda Easley (Justin), Ashley Isenberg (Michael), Bryce Starzyk, Camden Starzyk and Erika Starzyk; her great grandchildren, Luke Fitzgerald, Alexandra Easley, Jacob Easley and Benjamin Isenberg; and her siblings, Rita Joyce Harris and Dennis DeGonia.

Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to Alzheimer's Association, American Heart Association or Masses.
