With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan J. Picquet of OFallon, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 10, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, James Buechler and Lily Buechler; her husband Christopher Picquet; her children, Tina Zmaila (Jamie), Jeffrey Mayfield (Heather), Samantha Picquet (Adam Dunston) and James Picquet; her grandchildren, Nicholas Weber, Taylor Weber, Molly Mayfield, Kristen Mayfield, Gavin Mayfield, Lily Murray, Carter Dunston, Jake Zmaila, Abby Zmaila and Bailie Hall; her pet Dixie; and her brothers, James Buechler (Sandy) and Chris Buechler (Suzanne). She was also cherished by her family, friends.

In honor of Susan's memory, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness.

Fred Branz wrote a sympathy message

“Words cannot express how I am feeling with the loss of my best friend. We were as close as sisters. Sue was a joy to be with. Fred and I send our deepest condolences and love to the entire family. Sue said many times when the family was together that she enjoyed laying on the couch just watching over her loved ones knowing that they were all doing well. They brought her pillows., drinks, food and anything to make her more comfortable. Love, Fred and Charlotte Branz”
