He was predeceased by: his wife Delores Marie Boal; his son Michael Boal; his parents, Leonard Boal and Mildred Boal; and his siblings, John Boal and Betty Morrissey.

He is survived by: his son William Keith Boal (Jean); his grandchildren, Shelley Gerringer (Tom), Kelley Davis (Kevin), Andrew Boal and Kaitlyn Boal; and his great grandchildren, Mitchell, Miranda, Matthew, Wil, Jozie and Maverick.
