She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence C. Burkemper and Barbara Lucille Henningfeld Burkemper; and her brothers, William Burkemper, Alfred Burkemper (Frances), Charles Burkemper (Mame), David Burkemper (Virginia), Lawrence Burkemper, Jr. and Wilbert Burkemper.
She is survived by: her children, James Robert (Denise) of Winfield and Karen Poeling of Old Monroe; her grandchildren, Michael Harke, Nicole Pieper (Derek), Lauren Rodgers (John), Jared Poeling, Jason Poeling and Alexa Silver (Noah); her great grandchildren, Kannon, Abel, Jack, Samuel and George; and her sister-in-law Betty Burkemper of St. Peters, MO. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Carter Ricks Funeral Home (3838 East Highway 47, Winfield, MO 63389). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conceptioln Catholic Church (110 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369). A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (110 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (110 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369).
