He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund E. Wittmus and Alma M. Wittmus; and his siblings, William Wittmus, James Wittmus and Esther Wittmus.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry L. Wittmus; his sons, Wayne Wittmus and Karl Wittmus; his grandchildren, Alex Wittmus, Claire Wittmus and Henry Wittmus; and his sister Ruth Paschal. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church (907 Jungermann Rd, St Peters, MO 63376). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301).
