He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Cohen (Weenick); his parents, Sophie Cohen (Block) and Max Cohen; his brother Charles; his parents-in-law, Benjamin and Mollie Weenick; his siblings-in-law, Lois Sloofman (late Joseph), Beverly Schultz (late Lloyd) and Lawrence Weenick; and his nephew Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia, Marc, Roger and Deborah; his children-in-law, Bruce, Jennifer, Teri and Benjamin; his grandchildren, Katie (Dave), Peter (Alison), Simon, Hazel (Daniel), Anna Memphis (Jeremy), Benjamin (Anna), Sarah (Raj) and Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Teddy, Lazer and Wolf; and his nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Jane, Carol, Harry and John.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Berger Memorial (9430 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Donations preferred to Kol Rinah, 7701 Maryland Ave., St. Louis, MO 63105 or the Fran Cohen Endowed Student Award Fund at the Washington University Medicine Program in Occupational Therapy.
