She was predeceased by: her husband Matthew Newman. She is survived by: her children, Lee, Andy and Betsy; her grandchildren, Nicolas, Xander, Madison, Livy and Ella; and her sister Mary Marblestone.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Institute for the Deaf and the Miriam School and Learning Center.
