He was predeceased by: his mother Church; his spouse Georgiann A. Donovan; his son Michael Donovan; his siblings, Dolores Meyer (Elmer), Thomas Donovan, James Donovan (Jeanne) and Alfred Donovan, Jr. (Vicky); and his brothers-in-law, Gregory Guntly (Mary) and Gary Guntly.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathleen Lees (Roderick), Patti Donovan and Julie Stuckmeyer (Keith); his grandchildren, Margaret Kelch (Zachary), Michelle Sundbye (Cole), Eric Stuckmeyer and Luke Stuckmeyer; and his great grandchildren, Rose, Madeleine, Heidi Kelch, Rowan and Beckett Sundbye.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kriegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel (9450 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church (401 S Lindbergh Blvd, Frontenac, MO 63131). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (5239 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63115).
