Though Nancy Jane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy Jane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Maude Johnson and John Arthur Johnson; her husband John Condon Varner; her sister Anne Kathryn Phillips; and her daughter Susan Lynn Ashland.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia A. Copa (Jeff), Mary J. Lockard and John Varner, Jr. (Bridgett). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (7148 Forsyth Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63105). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Lourdes Parish (7148 Forsyth Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63105).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Nancy's name.
