She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin F. Meier and Lillian Venetta Meier (Ensley); her husband John William Duvel; her stepfather Joseph Stotler; her children, Gary W. Duvel and Diane C; her brothers, Lowell Meier and Marion Meier; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Leonard, Jr. and Mary Meier.
She is survived by: her sister Gail Leonard of Belflower, MO; and her sister-in-law Shirley Meier of Bowling Green, MO. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins and friends.
