He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hatley and Ruth Hatley (Gean); his siblings, Donald Ray Hatley, Ronald Dewayne Hatley, Claudis Dean Hatley and Ruth Carol Hatley; and his sister-in-law Brenda Gail Hatley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Smith; his daughters, Stacey Brawner (Ronnie) of Oran and Robin Chism of Sikeston; his sisters, Claudette Chailland (Jim) of Oran, Marie Bryeans (Dwain) of Oran, Linda Hatley of Vanduser, Marsha Amos of Vanduser, Donna Seabaugh of Vanduser, Darline Brown of Benton and Ronna Ponder (Nathan May) of Sikeston; his granddaughters, Kristin Schuchart, Sherina Sharp and Harley Hargrove; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn Schuchart, Evan Schuchart, Olivia Schuchart, Landon Sharp, Emily Sharp, Gabby Hargrove, Evie Thomas and Micah Gean Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel (114 N Railroad St, Oran, MO 63771). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
