She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Kaatman and Clara Kaatman; and her sister Carolyne Jay. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Oakes Jr.; her daughters, Sheri Felton and Lisa Chezem (Matthew); her grandchildren, Derek Felton (Courtney), Wade Chezem (Chase), Brenna Hernandez (Thomas) and Madison Newton; her great grandchild Jace Hernandez; and her siblings, Robert Kaatman (Nancy), John Kaatman (Nilda), Michael Kaatman (Linda), Catherine Andert (Charles) and Peggy Ferrone (Curtis Kreitner). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
