With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles B. Mitchell of Oronogo, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Charles left this world on April 23, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron "B. W." Mitchell and Dorothy F. Mitchell (Knapp). He is survived by: his children, Brent Mitchell of Oronogo and Andrea Mitchell of Centerton, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Caden, Kaeylynn, Evan and Ella; and his siblings, Terry Mitchell (Sheila) of Carthage, Roger Mitchell (Phyllis) of Joplin, Sandi Davison of Kansas City and Sally Hutchens of Joplin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parker Mortuary Chapel - Joplin. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in care of the mortuary.
