She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Loehr of Linn Creek, Missouri, Kent Nugent of Kansas City and Scott Nugent (Joanie) of Kingwood, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Jill (Justin Raiti), John Nugent, Conner and William Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dorthea's memory to the Compassus Living Foundation, a provider of hospice care for families in financial distress.
