It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Georgia G. Cates of Osage Beach, Missouri, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Lashley and Julia Lashley (Hoffman); her son Earl Cates; and her sons-in-law, Thomas Stimpson and Ronnie Cox.

She is survived by : her husband Earl Cates; her children, Jerry Cates (Oy) of Kaiser, Missouri, Louwanna Boom (Terry Berry) of Osage Beach, Rae "Pat" Stimpson of Temple and Linda Sue Cox of Fenton, Missouri; and her siblings, Joi Dunn of Memphis, Julia Fay "Jupie" Joiner of Dolton and Phillip Lashley of Jonesboro, Arkansas.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
