He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lambert and Rebecca Lambert (White); and his wife Virginia "Jenny" Cody. He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Roberts; his children, Mike Johnson (Cindy), Wanda Johnson, Rachael Schmitz (Jake) and Becky Carter (Jamie); and his siblings, Richard Lambert (Terri), Samuel Lambert (Joyce) and Karen Lively (Wayne). He is also survived by significant other and several nieces, nephews and friends.
