He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Podany and Mary Podany (Karel); his wife Dorothy Podany; his son Jeff Podany; and his siblings, Jim, Joe Podany and Blanche Podany (Jerry).
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Koperski (Bob) of Osage Beach, Missouri and Robert Podany Jr. of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jillian, Jenna, Dana and Dawson; and his great grandchildren, Gabriela, Jacob, Jaxon and Zaden. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
