Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Szczys and Ione Szczys (Lonsbrough); his wife Elizabeth Jones; his children, Patricia Augusta (Finnagan) and Michael Szczys (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Asa Augusta, Ione Augusta and Merrick Szczys.
The family requests no flowers or gifts. Memorial contributions in Bob's honor may be made to the Lake Area Community Orchestra or the Boy Scouts of America.
