He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Neva Lila Wheeler (Burrow); and his siblings, Zada Brown, Artalee Harris, Betty June Wheeler, Bonny Gardner and Tom Wheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Wisner; and his children, Rhonda Shelby (Larry), Karla Waters (Tom), Donna Shelby (Brett), Byron Wheeler (Angela) and Steve Wheeler (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
