He is survived by: his wife Maudie Higgins (Chapman); his children, Chris Higgins (Patty) and Debbie (Higgins) Byard (Michael); his grandchildren, Amanda Byard Dotson, Jeremy Byard and Zachary Byard; and his brothers, Elvin Higgins and Wayne Higgins.
