It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Mae Wood of Osceola, Missouri, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Susan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Forrester and Lillian Forrester; her husband Daryl Wood; her son Gabriel Nathaniel; and her sisters, Debbie Walters and Rita LeBarge.
She is survived by: her pet Lacie; and her siblings, Gary (Aggie Forrester), Duane Forrester of Kimberling City, Steven (Karen Forrester), Carolyn Tyree (Gary Conner) of Buffalo, Missouri and Kevin (Suzy Forrester). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
