The family announces the passing of Betty Jo Bunfill of Otterville, Missouri on October 1, 2026. Betty, born on March 12, 1933, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Stokes and Carrick; her spouse Glenn Bunfill; her son Ronald Merlin Slocum; her granddaughter Jennifer Mikayla Slocum; and her siblings, Patricia Bartlett, Bob Stokes and Arthur Stokes.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Slocum (Debbie) of Marshfield and Rev. Russ Slocum (Sandra) of Otterville; and her grandchildren, Christina, Amanda, Chris, Danielle and TJ. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (101 E Union St, Otterville, MO 65348). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Smith's Chapel Cemetery.
