She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Benton and Melba Lee Edwards (Cave); her son Jake Helmig; and her brother Terry Edwards. She is survived by: her sons, Brad Helmig of Otterville and Matt Helmig (Jessica) of Otterville; her grandchildren, Lauren Knuth (McKenzie), Weston Helmig, Megan Helmig (Lee Baker), Carlie Helmig, Nathan Helmig and Evan Helmig; and her great grandchild Anniston Knuth.
