She was predeceased by : her parents, Willis Johnson and Della Johnson; her husband Eugene J. Schneider; and her siblings, Lola Johnson, James Johnson, Orville Johnson, Flora Welty and Freda Holifield.

She is survived by : her children, Jacqueline Karsten (Tom), David Schneider and Gina Miller; her grandchildren, Thomas Karsten Jr. and Jamie Karsten; and her great grandchildren, Kendal Karsten, Charlie Johnson and Ellery Johnson.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Adele's family prefers masses.

Thomas Schneider wrote a sympathy message

“My Aunt Adele was the last living member of my family from the Greatest Generation. She was always kind to me and my siblings. I was staying with her family when my late younger Brother James was born and she had the bitter sweet task of gently informing me that I had a healthy baby Brother but that his twin sister was in heaven. I pray that Adele is there now. May she rest in peace. From her nephew, Tom Schneider”
