He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Leonard Shroder and Marguerite Frances Shroder (Hollis). He is survived by: his children, Amanda Sargent (Jeff), Jason Goltz (Samantha) and Brandy; his grandchildren, Abbigail King (Jake), Elijah Sargent, Tristen Goltz, Karli Sargent and Caleb Goltz; his siblings, Walter David Shroder, Diana Polzin and Penny Sargent; and his cousins, Carla Crump (Shroder) and Jerod Crump.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Truman Lake Cancer Relief Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
