He was predeceased by : his sons, Joseph Hoffman and David Colegrove (Kim); and his siblings, June Stewart and Earl Colegrove, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Connie Flagg; his friend Stephanie Rinaldi; and his children, Shawn Johnson (Daniel) and Julie Hundelt Oglesby (Joe).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home (12444 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Bellerive Gardens Cemetery (740 N Mason Rd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141).
