He is survived by : his wife Catherine Buckmann; his children, Curtis Buckmann, Jason Buckmann and Jaime Buckmann; his sisters, Jo Ann Hopkins (Thomas), Judith Smith and Janet Graham; and his grandchildren, Christian Buckmann, Kaitlyn Buckmann, Kendall Buckmann and Kenneth Buckmann.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery (1027 S 6th St, St Charles, MO 63301).
