We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2026, at the age of 61, Larry R. Rose (Overland, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Larry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Larry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Larry leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sherri Maierhoffer-Rose (Kopplin); his son Justin Hofmann; his siblings, Susan Kattentidt (Rose), Bill Rose, Patty Dunn (Rose) and Dave Rose; his parents-in-law, Barb, Mike McBride and Craig Kopplin; and his stepchildren, Alex Maierhoffer and Katelynn Maierhoffer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ortmann Funeral Home (9222 Lackland Rd, Overland, MO 63114). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
