He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Nevills and Velma Nevills (Smith); and his siblings, Dora Lloyd, Lucille Welch, Pauline Thompson, David, Charles, Cecil, Herb and Carl Nevills.
He is survived by: his wife Okal of Owensville; his son Joseph Nevills (Susan) of Highland Haven, Texas; his grandchildren, Dwayne Nevills (Carla) of Webster, Gary Nevills (Anita) of Staunton, Kyle Nevills of Burnne and Wendy Pearson of Marble Falls, Texas; his sister IdaMay Sohn of Cuba; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice Stephens of Bay and Robert Shoemaker of Gerald. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home - Owensville Date (108 S 2nd St, Owensville, MO 65066). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gottenstroeter Chapel (108 S 2nd St, Owensville, MO 65066).
